I'm Just Saying…

About Me…

I was born in a log cabin…okay, that’s not true. My life is a tragic one, filled with struggle and strife… nope, not true either. “I am born”…oops, that’s from Dickens’ David Copperfield. Let’s try this in a list format.

Name: Jill Amy Rosenblatt

Height: 5′ 6”

Weight: Who wants to know?

Age: Thirty. I’ve been thirty for the past ten years. I’m enjoying it.

Marital Status: Single. Do you know anyone?

Pets: One day I’d like to have a pug and a golden retriever. I’d name the pug Sherlock and the retriever Watson.

Astrological Sign: Gemini, the sign of the twin. That means sometimes I’m in a good mood and sometimes I’m not. I’m great at starting lots of projects. Finishing the projects? Not so much.

Education: Bachelor of Arts,  Writing and Literature. Finally. Masters Degree? Maybe someday.

I should have known I was going to eventually be a writer. I was always daydreaming. My favorite spot in the classroom in school was the last seat in the last row by the window, so I could stare out while the teacher was talking. To all of my teachers in high school, I’m sorry.

Best Attribute? I think I’m a good listener.

Worse Attribute? Sometimes I don’t listen when people talk to me.

Organizational Skills: I wish. Every time I clean my desk, it morphs back into a black hole ten minutes later. I need a support group: Clutterers Anonymous.

I’m a wanna be in a lot of things. Photography, drawing, watercolor painting, chess, knitting, baking.  Almost everything interests me. Except math. And science. Libraries and bookstores are my favorite places. Shocking, I know. I’m a movie buff, especially the classics. I can watch the same movie over and over again. I’m one of those people that can quote movie lines verbatim.

Favorite Expression: I’m just saying…
